We now buy back every Decathlon bicycles, as well as all brands for carbon frame bicycles.

The Buy Back scheme is only applicable for Decathlon Members.

The valuation of the voucher is based on the bike's type, and its condition. During the online pre-valuation of your equipment, you will obtain a purchase price estimate based on the information provided on your product. This recovery price will be validated after your equipment has been checked by our teams. A counter-offer may be made to you if the information declared online does not correspond to the actual characteristics of your equipment.

A proof of purchase is required to confirm the purchase price of your equipment. If there is no proof of purchase, the purchase price will be based on Decathlon’s listing of the same or similar model.

1. Visit our partner Certify Cycle to validate integrity of the frame.
2. Get your estimation online and book your store visit after the integrity of the frame is validated.
3. Get your Decathlon gift card in store.

Once your Decathlon bicycle has been received, checked by our teams and the purchase price validated, you will receive the amount by DECATHLON Gift Card immediately.

We will only Buy Back "Like new" or "Lightly used" bicycles.

Like new:

Product comes with a minor cosmetic defect, and packaging of item might be missing and/or damaged. The product has been checked by our expert technician. The product is fully functional and safe to use.

Lightly used:

Product has been used. It comes with all original parts and minor cosmetic defects. This product has been refurbished by our expert technician.  The product is fully functional and safe to use.

Well used:

Product has been regularly used, and it comes with all original parts, cosmetic defects and visible wear and tear. It has also been refurbished by our expert technician, but some parts would still require replacement for optimal usage. The product is fully functional and safe to use.

Heavily used:

Product has been extensively used, and it comes with visible wear and tear due to extensive usage. Some parts have been replaced to ensure safer functionality of the product. However, the product still has a substantial shelf life to offer.

The purchase of your equipment may be refused if:

- Your bike is not from Decathlon or out of the program scope.

- Your bike condition doesn't match the description provided in the online form. We only Buy Back "Like new" or "Lightly used" Decathlon bicycles.

- It is a bike with carbon frame (Store mechanic will decide).

- The bike has been modified in part(s) or whole.

- It is an e-bike (We don't have the capacity of repairing these yet).

Currently, no. However, we are in the discovery phase to make buyback available from home in 2024 - keep a look out!

After its takeover by Decathlon, your bike will be fully refurbished and refreshed by our technicians in order to put it back on sale within our Second Life offer. It will be guaranteed for 2 years, and can be returned or exchanged.

Decathlon Buy Back Service only applies to bicycles.

Accessories purchased from Decathlon don’t fall into the service and must be treated separately: they can only be returned under the conditions of our return policy.
